Its four phases take humanity gradually closer to the realization of our vision: an ecologically, socially and resource sustainable and infinitely diverse expression of LIFE, permeating the solar system and reaching toward the stars. We will develop the technological, economical, cultural and social systems that can enable this vision to be realized.

Our current mode of civilization is not sustainable, and it is directly destructive to a majority of the world's population as well as large parts of the ecosystems of the planet. Developing a new form of civilization is urgent if we are to survive, and if we are to stop massive extinctions of other species. We must go from fighting for survival and competing for resources to living in symbiosis with the surrounding world, while maintaining a high standard of living for all the people of the world. This task is a great and tough one - but one we must undertake. We believe that building a new civilization cannot be done by arguing against the old systems - only by building new ones that will supplant the old ones by their self-evident superiority in efficiency, sustainability and quality of life.

We start by building a global network of passionate people, a professional media team that can share our visions with the world, a family of eco-villages where we can develop new social and economic systems, and an industrial ecology of employee owned co-operatives that develop the cutting edge technology and scientific advances we need.

The Aeon Project will become a global inspiration for the collective transition to a sustainable and resource-based mode of civilization.

Using the knowledge and resources that Foundation has built, we will build a full scale, self-sustained, resource-based and sustainable alternative to contemporary civilization in the only place left on earth for such a bold initiative: The Ocean. 

The equatorial archipelago of Aquaria will provide a model for the evolution of global civilization, while also providing clean and renewable energy and fuel, open source technological innovations and vast amounts of food and clean water to the people of the world.

The vast amounts of energy and resources created by Aquaria will allow human civilization to finally escape our cradle on the earth and start building habitats in space, starting in earth orbit, expanding to the moon and mars, and spreading gradually out into the solar system. 

As we spread the possibilities of life out from our home, the Earth's ecosystems are gradually restored as humans learn to live in near-total symbiosis with the systems that surround us.

By the time of Solaria, nanotechnology and artificial intelligence will have transformed human civilization into an infinitely diverse tapestry of ways of life, habitation, art, and expression, spreading through the whole of our solar system. The quality of life, diversity of lifestyle and freedom of expression in this living solar system will surpass anything we have dreamed of before. 

Where once was cold space and rocks, flowers will bloom, children will play, and life will continue evolving and flourishing. Eventually we will be ready to take the next step and create Galactia - the living galaxy.
